The visit of mechanical engineering students of the university to technical and professional center number one in Birjand

According to the public relations report of Birjand University of Technology, the director of the mechanical engineering department of the university stated in completing this news: In this visit, the students visited various workshops in order to learn about technical and professional courses and how they are conducted.

Mr. Dr. Zahorkari further added: With the consultations, a joint working group was established with the presence of faculty members of the Mechanical Engineering Education Department and officials of the Technical and Vocational Education Center in Birjand to discuss the creation of a university-adjacent center to improve the professional skills of TMC students, holding complementary skill courses. With mechanical engineering courses, participation in training and holding national skill olympiads and revision of the approved mechanical engineering program according to the entrepreneurial approach was formed.

Further, they pointed out that with a detailed and coherent planning, we intend to transform the practical courses of the mechanical engineering field in a way that meets the skill and job needs of the students after graduation.

In the first phase of this plan, the courses of machine tool workshop, welding workshop, automechanic workshop, numerical control machine workshop and electrical basics laboratory will be on the agenda, and in the next phase, the courses of measuring systems laboratory, precision instruments and robotics laboratory, industrial automation laboratory will be added. And hydraulics and pneumatics and reverse engineering laboratory, air conditioning systems laboratory and welding non-destructive testing laboratory will follow in the near future.
